Your data, plainly

Last updated: 6 July 2026

The short version

Log Kya Kahenge doesn't show ads yet, sets no tracking or analytics cookies, and has no logins or accounts. To make the game work, we keep a small amount of data in your own browser, and our server holds a room's state only while that game is being played. That's the core of it. We don't sell your data — and there's nothing to sell.

What we keep in your browser

These live in your device's localStorage, not on our servers. Wipe them any time by clearing this site's browser data:

What the server sees

While a game is live, our server holds the room's state — who's playing, display names, answers, and scores — in memory only, and it's gone when the room ends. Like any website, our server keeps standard request logs (including IP addresses) to keep things secure and running. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when a page loads.

Advertising & cookies

Right now there are no ads and no advertising cookies. We plan to add ads later (through Google AdSense and Google's H5 Games Ads) to help keep the game free — and we'd rather tell you now. Here's what will change once ads go live:

You're in control. Turn off personalised Google ads at Google My Ad Center or Google Ads Settings. Opt out of many other companies' ad cookies at once via the Digital Advertising Alliance (US) or Your Online Choices (Europe). To see how Google handles data from sites that use its services, read “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.” Opting out doesn't remove ads — they just won't be tailored to you.

When we serve ads to visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we'll ask for your consent first using a Google-certified consent tool, as Google requires — and you'll be able to change or withdraw that choice.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can reach us about your data at log@kyakahenge.com — this is also our contact and grievance point, and a real person will answer.

If you're in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland (GDPR): you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to how we use it, and get a portable copy. Where we rely on your consent — such as for personalised ads — you can withdraw it any time, and that won't undo anything done lawfully beforehand. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you're in India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): you can ask for a summary of the personal data we process about you and who we've shared it with; have it corrected, completed, updated, or erased; use the grievance route below; and nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or are incapacitated. Because we act on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time — as easily as you gave it.

Raising a grievance: please write to us first at log@kyakahenge.com. We'll respond within a reasonable period. Please give us the chance to resolve it before escalating to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

We may update this policy as the game grows — most notably when ads actually go live, at which point we'll name our ad partners right here. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
